How do I change location? (Multi-location members only)
On the Dashboard page there will be an option to Select Location. Choose the location required and tap ‘Show’. This displays all information and listings for the selected location.
How do I access manual and automated reports?
These can only be viewed or accessed at our eBay website (www.ebaymotorspro.co.uk). To view the site, go to the Dashboard page and tap ’Normal Site’.
How do I view my listing performance?
On the Dashboard page tap ‘Performance Report’. This expands the section to show data for the current week, last week, current month and the previous 3 months. These sub-headings can also be expanded to view the data for that period.
How do I review listing metrics?
On the Dashboard page tap ‘Listing Metrics’. This expands the section to show data for listing count, age of listings, number of pictures per listing and if there is a subtitle and short descriptions for listings. These sub-headings can also be expanded to view the data for the selections.
How do I logout?
On the Dashboard page tap ‘Logout’ at the very bottom of the page.
How do I view unread messages from buyers?
Near the top of the Dashboard page it will display if you have unread messages in your inbox. There will be an option to ‘Tap here to reply’. This link will redirect you to ebay.co.uk to view and reply to messages.
How do I accept a new contract, contract renewal or new feature?
While on the mobile site, tap ‘Dashboard’. At the top there will be an option to “Switch back to normal site”. Tap this link to revert to the normal eBay Motors Pro site. You will be able to accept contracts and new features from your ‘Features’ section of the site.

How do I apply filters?
On the Inventory page tap the ‘Filter / Customise’ button at the top of the page. This opens a new page where you can filter listings by make, published/unpublished and other options to filter your Inventory selections. Tap ‘Apply filter’.
How do I remove filters?
On the Inventory page tap the ‘Filter / Customise’ button at the top of the page. Tap ‘Remove filter’ to remove the selected filters on the page.
How do I search my inventory?
Type in the keyword you are searching for on the search bar on the Inventory page. It will only search for keywords for listings that are loaded on the page. To load more listings scroll down on the Inventory page to paginate. This will load another 20 listings for your search. Keep scrolling down until it says “There are no more listings to show”.
Why don't I see all of the vehicles listed in my inventory?
When you open the Inventory page it will only load the first 20 listings. You will need to scroll down to the bottom to load the next 20 listings. This is called pagination. The site will tell you when there are no more listings to show.
If you still cannot see all of your listings please make sure all filters are removed so that all listings are displayed in your Inventory.
How do I edit a listing’s details?
On the Inventory page tap the listing title or picture. This will open the listing’s details on another page. Tap ‘Change Listing’ to edit the listing.

On the Inventory page tap the listing title or picture. This will open the listing’s details on another page. Tap ‘Manage Pictures’ to add new pictures or delete current pictures. Tap ‘Add files’ to locate and choose new pictures and then tap ‘Start upload’ to add them to the listing.
How can I tell if a listing is published or unpublished?
A published listing will have a green tick beside it on the Inventory page.
An unpublished listing will have a padlock beside it on the Inventory page.
How can I view my sold/deleted listings?
Follow these steps:
On the Inventory page tap the ‘Filter / Customise’ button at the top of the page. This opens a new page called ‘Inventory | Filter actions’.
Under the ‘Published & Unpublished’ filter, you’ll have the option to choose ‘Sold/Deleted’.
Tap ‘Apply filter’ to show your sold and deleted listings.
How do I publish, unpublish, delete, move or sell similar listing?
On the Inventory page tap the ‘Options’ wheel to the right of a listing. This will open a new page giving you the option to publish, unpublish, delete, move or sell a similar listing.
Can I add a video? YouTube but only from the main site
You can add videos on our main eBay Motors Pro site only. Your video can be uploaded to YouTube and then the link can be copied to your listing in ‘Pictures / Videos’. Videos cannot be added on our mobile site.
How do I create a listing on the mobile site?
Follow these steps:
Tap Create Listings and select the type of vehicle that you would like to list.
Enter the Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) and tap Continue.
Important: If you don’t have the VRM, you can select the Make and Model of your vehicle using the drop-down menus.
Enter the car's First Registration Date, if it’s available.
Based on your information, extensive vehicle databases will complete most of the essential car specifications. Also, you’ll still be able to make changes or add important features.
I've set up some Default Text in Settings: Do I have to include them in all my listings now?
No. While creating a listing, towards the end of creating a listing you can select or deselect the box corresponding to the Default Text you want to include/ exclude from your listing.
Can I preview my listing before I upload it to eBay.co.uk?
Yes. In the final step you can review all the data you have entered about your vehicle and preview it. When you're satisfied with your description you can submit it.
Is it possible to change or delete pictures when I've finished listing my vehicle?
Yes. You can change or delete pictures at any time, even when a listing is already visible on eBay.co.uk. Just go to your Inventory, choose the appropriate listing and tap ‘Manage Pictures’.
Can I change the order of the pictures I've uploaded to my listing?
You cannot reorder your photos by way of the mobile site, so we suggest that you upload your gallery picture first. However, you can reorder them on the main site by dragging and dropping. When finished click on 'Save New Order'.
Which types of pictures can I add to listings through eBay Motors Pro?
Is there a maximum size of picture I can add?
The maximum file size of an image on the mobile site is 15MB. This prevents any issues with larger images from your mobile phone’s camera.
Why is some functionality not available on the eBay Motors Pro mobile site?
The eBay Motors Pro mobile site product is new and we want to ensure that the main features functioned correctly before we started developing more sections of the mobile site. Please give us your valuable suggestions on the site so that we can look at implementing more functions on the mobile site.
