Basics

back to topWhat is the Inventory in eBay Motors Pro?

The Inventory shows all the vehicle listings you have created, whether you have chosen to display them on eBay or not.

back to topWhat are Filters?

Using the Filters near the top of the Inventory page allows you to narrow down the vehicles displayed on the screen to find a particular listing. If you can't see any filters right now, click Show. Using Filters doesn't affect which of your listings appear on eBay.

Filtering & Sorting

back to topWhere do Filters apply?

When you are using the eMP Filter function you are searching cars for within your own Inventory. This is especially helpful if you have a large number of listings. To search for vehicles on eBay please visit www.ebay.co.uk or in your eBay Motors Pro Inventory click on ‘My Listings on eBay UK’.

back to topHow can I find a particular vehicle?

There are several things you can do using your Filters:

  • Narrow down by Make or Model: choose Make then a Model if required, and press Filter.
  • Filter by Year, Mileage or Consumer Price: select the desired range from the lists and press Filter.
  • Find using My Reference: when you create listings, you're asked to provide a unique reference for each vehicle. You can type in all or part of a reference and press Filter.
  • Filter by Quality Measures: select the desired Quality Measure and press Filter.

back to topHow do I get rid of Filters when I don't need them anymore?

If you have filtered your Inventory, there will be a button entitled 'Remove filter'. Click this link to do so.

back to topHow do I edit the number of vehicles displayed per page?

At the bottom of the inventory page, next to 'Items per Page:', you can find links which allow you to select the number of listings to show on a single page. Just click on the desired number.

back to topHow do I sort my Inventory and by which features can I sort?

The column headers which show up as links on the inventory list will allow you to sort your inventory. Click once on a column header to sort by that column, click twice to reverse sort order (ascending or descending). Small arrows will indicate the sort order.
